I agree. I fill my tank to 1/2 or so..this works great so YOU know you have enough water.

If I told my wife she would have to start bagging her toilet paper or use a bucket I can assure you that I would be camping alone. I have had a TT, 2 FW's this coach and a circle of friends who have been RV'ing longer than I and toilet issues are just not a worry for any of us. Use sufficient water, proper TP and follow the instructions on dumping and go your merry way.

You need less water in the tank when using Happy Camper because it liquefies waste and breaks down toilet paper. You get no "dreaded 'out house' pile up" even using modest amounts of water.

Yes, I put the TP in the toilet and I don't use any chemicals other than water.

Adding a bowl full, about a gallon, every time I flush fills the tank too fast.

I never have issues with my tank,,, so no one can say that I am full of ####

lots of water as said previously here, and ration out the TP if necessary to those who use 1/2 a roll each time they go

A backed up toilet is no laughing matter. The cause for it Is another.
Always the cause is insufficient water in the bowl to flush the contents fluidly into the tank. Too little water will result in the dreaded 'out house 'pile up.
Instructions to your family on when to or not to use enough water to flush the toilet is the key.

Yep...about three posts down from the original, someone said, put a bunch of water in before you leave- and bank on the sloshing action as you drive.

I'm thinking that's the first, second and third step...(maybe I'd even take ot to 10 tries before I'd even THINK about getting up to my elbows)...

...and I'm not sure the OP actually reported a PROBLEM...just that he can see some TP down there...

In a commercial C/G when we have company we duct tape the lid down on our commode, leave a sign pointing to a 5 gallon bucket in the shower with a sign on that stating, “U use it, U clean it, or U are welcome to use the free campground restrooms only 50’ away”.

Tough love, yes, but no plugged up issues with our holding tank.

Lakeside
