Tongue positioning-Ball
I know there is an ideal position when getting the ball an tongue so when the electric jack gets the units to brake free. Lots of years with light weight boat trailers and a lot less tongue weight....

On an incline, I dunno, the motor just has to do some work, I think it's rated for 3500 lbs, so more than enough to lift the rear axle of the truck a little until it breaks free.
