Sorry to hear about your situation, private businesses, particularly those that use reservations such as hotels, RV parks, and airlines to name a few, have policies in place, and as such can utilize them to their benefit.
We have been to our favorite hotels many times over and on some occasions they had no problem with checking in early, on other occasions they strictly abided by their check in policy, simply due to being nearly fully booked.
On a couple of occasions we have pulled in to RV parks around noon and had no issue checking in early, again it was not their busy season. I would not expect such flexibility in their busy season.
There are some work arounds as suggested above, we always attempt to use federal, state, county, city, or casino RV parks before resorting to a private RV park as they tend to be roomier and are more flexible about check in times.
