Too much money for overnight stay!

So I was considering booking an overnight stay near my sister's wedding reception which is in the afternoon. So I wouldn't have to drive so far afterwards. I called two places. They both had room. I explained that I only needed an overnight place to sleep and would not use any of their facilities; could I please checkin early so I can make the reception?

Both said no and I asked them to be flexible but they would not budge. I only wanted them to let me come at 11:00 instead of their 3:00 checkin time.

Oh well; their loss. I'll keep my $50 and spend it elsewhere. And I'll remember those campgrounds and NEVER stay there.
