Wow I did not expect this thread to drift this far off topic. The issue of storage is not an issue people with RVs worry about most RVs go through a tank in one day while a full tank in a Volt can last one year. I brought up storage because reading about fuel freshness is what led me to other issues. The only thing I felt had relevance to RV owners is fuel additives and quality. I intended to clarify the issue of whether there is any difference in the additives in name brand and a generic no name brand. Heck I don't even want to debate if one is better than another brand because I don't want to cloud up the discussion. Simply put some people believe that additives in brand A are the same as brand X. I would love to discuss if buying top tier is getting you better quality fuel but just coming to an agreement as to if there is any difference is difficult
