The odds say you are worried about the wrong thing..........by a LOT!
WOW, just wow. What horrible and the most unsafe advice I have ever heard of. The loss of just one life in any situation is one too many. Especially when you can take precautions to avoid it. :R:R
Tornado: Been there done that 2 homes damaged AND on the road in my RV AND in a CG. Bad enough to lift my 31 foot right off the ground and slam it back down. Had to get a tow truck to lift it up again to get all the CG stuff that flew under it to be able to move it.
Tornadoes are a VERY VERY life threatening serious situation.
Yes just driving down the road on a sunny day an idiot can hit and kill you.
BUT, BIG BUT 'knowing' and 'being aware' of WHERE a tornado is and 'AVOIDING' it is just plain common, life saving sense.
Be aware, and be prepared to take the best cover you can to avoid a tornado period.
