Just completed this task! Tested everything out and it seems all the lights work, i.e. flashers, left, right, running and brake lights. Now my P2 is acting as if it's not connected to the trailer. Hmmm, scratching head! (But I am getting a brake light on the trailer). I took pics of the junction box prior to taking everything apart so I would know how to put everything back. Maybe one of the black wires is misconnected?
