Yeah, no where does it indicate anything suggesting a physical or mechanical connection with the tow vehicle's brakes system. I think it operates on a 'surge' basis calibrated to not activate mere because the tow and toad are on a downhill slope and with a breakaway feature. That's my understanding and I'm wondering if there's a difference I'm missing between the Blue Ox and other such systems since the Blue Ox seems to be offered at something like 60% of the pricing of others.
