I like the Acme trailer because you can store it on its back, do you have any issues with the wheels being 10"...speed restriction, etc.
Their web site FA section has this:
"Q-Is the tire size a common size to find, and how well do they function on posted speed limits?
A-Yes and no. The tire size is fairly easy to find, but the “D” weight rating usually has to be ordered. Of course we stock them and can ship a set of tires to you very quickly. We have thousands and thousands of these tires on the road every day. They are very reliable and robust. When the dolly is properly loaded they can travel safely at any posted speed limit. Leave plenty of braking room".
The tires are D rated - "When the dolly is properly loaded they can travel safely at any posted speed limit".
"Q- Are your Tow Dolly tires really just 10 inch tires?
No. It is a ten inch wheel with a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. The most common GM bolt pattern. The tire itself is 8.5 inches wide, 21 inches tall. It is a true trailer trailer . A 10 Ply Bias ply tire rated for 1650 lbs and holds 90 PSI. Bias ply tires are the only way to get to this high load rating. Bias ply tires are common on trailers and actually cost more than radial tires. They have very little to no flex in the side walls".
Hope that helps.
