Folks I think he is saying that the newer srw one tons have more capacity than the srw one tons used to have - not that they have more than a drw truck. At least that is how I interperted it.

I think you are right. When I had my 99 F350 2wd, XL, Dually Crew Cab, gasser my payload was only about 4000 lbs. when I looked at a 2013 F250 XL 4x4 gasser it had about 3200 lbs of payload . That again was a F250!!
