I live in Central Indiana. The office I work at is right off of I-69. I can see I-69 from my window at work. I travel US 31 (North and South) in Indiana quite often. I travel and camp all over Indiana. Because of my location, I see LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of RV's in transport from the many RV manufacturing plants in Northern Indiana heading South. And I've seen all kinds of things those "transporters" do.
Here's my conclusion, after having years and years of similar thoughts as the OP... If the RV can survive the initial transport... It's a darn good camper!
