tow/haul light flashing,,but didnt feel any problems

So coming home yesterday from our camping trip the tow/haul light started to flash. this was about 40 miles into the trip. So we pulled over, the tranny fluid looked low, so I added alittle more. The ...

There is a ton of information on the google about tow/haul light flashing on a Ford F250. It's not encouraging, with many indicating that the transmission will not engage or shift.

You should probably take it to a reputable transmission repair shop for analysis and repair.
