Jun 09, 2016I'm in a different TV (Ram), but if I'm up to speed an cruising down the highway on relatively flat land then I'll turn off Tow Haul. Even at GVWR the truck occasionally slips into MDS, where 4 of the cylinders shut down. I have an ODBII scanner showing all my loads, temps, etc so I know I'm not hurting anything doing it this way. In traffic, hilly terrain, getting up to speed I'll use Tow Haul.
