Tow/haul mode
What to do? I was on a steep grade and tapped my brake and it downshifted from 3 to 2 and hit 6000 rpm. I still wanted to slow down more but could not hit the brake again as I was high on rpm already ...

Always put it in Tow/Haul when towing or hauling. The computer will keep it from destroying itself. I have it in my MH and the Tow/Haul works amazing. With my Excursion I always manually downshifted. Now, the computer handles that and does a great job!
