Towing a MINI - Connection to the car question

Question

I know you have to attach a mount to the MINI. Is there a mount that, when not attached to the tow bars, doesn't show at all? My wife is very particular with the look of her car. She doesn't want to attach a mount to the MINI with anything showing when not in tow.

on my saturn I have a blue ox mount that consists of two round "pipes" that the connections are slid into.  they are not invisible but certainly not obnoxious.bumpy

Go to etrailer.com and search for a base plate that will fit your Mini. Most likely there will be an installation video that will answer your question.

For both Blue Ox and Roadmaster, there are two tubes that show and a hook for the safety cables. As been said above, they are pretty small but they are there. If you send me a private message with your email address, I'll send you a picture of what our MINI roadster looks like with the baseplate attached.
