10.5k for 3.73, 12k for 4.10. That's as high as any 3+ row vehicle has ever existed. Excursion is little better. Tow ratings are similar, payload slightly lower for V10 vs. 8.1L GM. Frankly, I don't think I would replace what you currently have for either unless the current Burb needs work and isn't worth repairing. Suck it up for 3+ years? Save the $ for a crew cab pickup with 8.1L or diesel?
How far do you travel for these trips? It may be worthwhile to just take two vehicles. Then a crew cab pickup can make some more sense even now.
