I bought this ball mount and received it on ebay. Yesterday, I was looking for the WDH. It seems that with the WDH, you don't need the ball mount I just bought. Did I just waste $125 for nothing? ...

Sorry but yes, you probably wasted your money. The "ball mount" (also known as a drawbar) will come with the new WDH. It's very specific because the spring bars have to attach to it.
