I bought this ball mount and received it on ebay. Yesterday, I was looking for the WDH. It seems that with the WDH, you don't need the ball mount I just bought. Did I just waste $125 for nothing? ...

You wasted your money, but maybe you did not. You may find the hitch you purchased useful for another trailer someday, especially if it has a different size ball than your camper. I have 4 different hitches and about 6 balls, used on different trailers.
