Try it without using CC and see if there is a difference in MPG's.. I know I don't get as good MPG using CC towing, especially in rolling hills and varying wind conditions..
I will use CC on flat, straight stretches of road with no wind, but normally, I let the left foot control it and I seem to do better mpg wise..
