My 8.1L big block gasser averaged 9.4mpg(hand calculated) over the entire 5100 miles from Mich to the Pacific Northwest and back towing my 7200# Bullet. My towing speed is 62 to 65 mph but exceeding that when passing slower vehicles.
Around town I get 11-12mpg.
I am very happy with the performance and mileage while towing.
I use Mobile 1 synthetic and premium name brand fuel.
No mods except a Bully air horn and a Curt hitch receiver.
