I've gotten as low as 6 in a headwind or crosswinds, and as much as 9.5. Average speed towing is about 61 or 62, and average mileage is 8'ish. My truck (with the 6.2) calls for premium gas, and it adds absolutely nothing to power, performance, or economy.
