I just looked at the Hensley site and saw a video on the one with the snap up brackets. It appears there is another piece, the "spring bar keeper". It appears that it is used to hold the angle for hooking and unhooking. Do you have the spring bar keepers? If you don't have these it would be a major pain to hook and unhook.
