What is the advantage supposed to be? Faster? Easier? Cleaner? Safer? Lighter? Less physical effort? Can't see any real advantage.
Doesn't look long lasting and will need some maintenance like periodic lubing. Don't see a potential problem with the webbing (unless it is soy-based and bio-degradable ;)) but do in the mech. parts. You just can't beat good 'ol chains and snap-up brackets. If a product came along that was much easier to hook up and requires less physical effort, I would say that'd be good for older folks and those with arthritis or other afflictions.
It may be difficult to avoid Lippert, but when there's an alternative when choosing a new item for your RV, you can use the competitor's product, which is personally what I would do regardless.
