"Six in line, tows just fine". You will have zero towing issues with the 3.42 axles.
  • My 3500 6.7L diesel with a 342 rear end handles my 12,500 lb trailer very well. All terrains - been out West (big, long hills) with it several times. I would expect yours would do just fine. Sure, a 411 would pull better, but I don't think it's really needed at this load.
  • How often do you pull the trailer? What type of terrain do you pull the trailer over? Flat? Hilly? Is this Dodge gonna be your daily driver? How tall are the tires and do plan to install taller ones?
