I wanted to put new tires on my boat trailer recently and just wanted car tires as boat is only around 2300 lbs or so. Was told "no" by Discount Tire as ST tires had to be put on. My reasoning was boat wasn't that heavy and the tires usually dry rot before wearing out. Went with Maxxis as only option was carsles
