TrailAir Schrader Valve

My Trailer Schrader Valve has a slight bend in it...was like that when we picked up the trailer. There seems to be a leak (I have not performed a soap water test), but I assume it is the valve. I can start the day with it aired up to the arrows, as the day progresses, it gets lower and lower...

I checked Lipperts store for a replacement, they want $24 (plus $11 for shipping), I imagine it is a standard NPT size that can be had at a welding supply store or possobly an auto parts store.

Does anyone have any info on it? It is a Lippert Part...Pinbox Tank Valve (SKU 156740).

Thanks,
Cale

  • Buy a pack of them from Oriellys for $1.99 and replace it.

I have...without pulling it out this morning, wasn't sure of the size... of the Schrader valve...

I was hoping to do a little arm chair shopping this morning, however, once removed, I will likely just go to the store...

I thought about calling Lippert for the warranty, but it is bent, not defective. Though it was like that when I got it, the valve was the least of my worries that day. I figure I can pick a couple up incase of emergency.

  • I would make sure that is what's leaking then try to get a warranty replacement from Lippert.
