If you need to add air everytime out you need to do a leak test, just add soapy water. I run 80psi on a 3800 pin weight

I'm on the low end of the scale with my Trail Air, I'm running about 50psi.

But my 5th wheel is only 9,000lbs and pin weight less than grand.

You really have to experiment with the pressure for your rig, don't be afraid to try a lower setting if your still riding harsh.

I run mine at 100PSI and it just barely gets to the top of the arrow.

They do seem to take a lot of air. I need over 80 PSI on my relatively light (11,200 pound) 5er.

I also need to fill it each time out. Why would going to 100 PSI and leaving it filled overnight solve the leak??

not hooked up the arrow is 7/8 inch below the outer shock housing on mine. I prefer to run it 1/2 to 3/4 inch lower, it rides much better.

Thanks, this will help. someone pulled the sticker off of mine and I didn't get a manual with it. The dealer put a piece of tape on it and I just wanted to make sure it was accurate.

Air pressure depends on the exact Trailair pin box and the way you load your trailer. I have 2 and the air bag size and volume of air is different. My pin weight is 3800#.

Hitch up and air to the top of arrows is exactly what the manual instructs. Arrowheads are the reference as there is not a standard pressure.

I have a model L05 that is the long pin box and it has a big air bag so it only took 75psi to get to the top of the arrowheads. I now have that box stored in the garage waiting to sell and am using a M15 model of the same pin box which is 12" shorter in length and considered the medium version.
It has a small bag when compared to the long version and takes 100psi to get to the top of the arrowheads.

I checked and recorded psi after 1st set up and test drive. Its easier to check pressure and air up before the trailer is hitched up. That makes the pressures I stated as "Unhitched" pressures.

I also had a Trail Air with a heavy trailer. PSI to get to the marked line was very high. Over 100#. Did some checking & they sent me another airbag. Larger. Needed only 60-70# to be on the line.

Much better.

FYI, I currently have a very similar trailer with 5th Airbourne pinbox. Miserable with the thing. Has only half the travel of the Trail Air. Only marginally better than no airbag system at all.
