Storage woes are why I'm going to go for a short class "C". I have two choices where I am:
If I were storing my rig in storage lot here in Austin, I would have to replace the locks with thumb latches on the storage compartments, pull everything out of the RV, and leave a broken flat-screen TV in the rig. That way, if it gets broken into, the thieves will have their hands full with hauling a TV out, and less likely to vandalize. RV breakins are quite common, and are just a misdemeanor (which means a night in jail at most)
Store the rig in a rural area... and deal with the time it takes to go and pick it up then drop it off.
I'm doing the second option. Austin doesn't allow trailers in driveways, so it is a MH or nothing.
