Over time, you will encounter campers with lights, campgrounds with annoying light fixtures etc. Accept some people like a festive look at their site, and maybe learn to enjoy it. If you're looking for dark skies for astronomy, stargazing or just like dark, pick a campground/boondock off the grid with that in mind. There are some places here in CA which it is protocol not to have light escape from the RV. Telescopes set up, very fun and different.
We like dark rooms to sleep in.
Our bedroom slide has Windows on each side. I took a couple cans of spray on black
Plastic-dip and gave them a couple coats. I then got the regular Plasti-dip and covered
The vent with a nice thick coat. Very dark in the bedroom.
We sleep well.
