TMPS is good for a finding a tire with a leak. However the TMPS does nothing for alerting the vehicle operator of a actual blow out nor will they alert the operator with a complete tread loss which both have been classic examples of ST tire issues. Many have reported complete tread loss but the carcass still had max pressure.

That being said the TMPS on a trailer is better than nothing. Just be aware of their limitations.
