Timely discussion...I'm looking for new tires for my TT....GVWR 4536KG...10,000lbs. It uses ST 225/75R 15 tires.
Factory tires are rated C and I wanted to move up to D range but my local tire guy has recommended Duro A/S E 2100 E range. (never heard of Duro before....anyone with experience with this brand?)
I did get a quote for Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R 15(E) @ $189.00/ea CDN
I'm wondering that since the E range tires are 10 ply, will the TT ride 'rougher' or will the suspension smooth out the ride regardless of the side wall thickness?
Leaving for a 9 month / 8,000 mi adventure in August...just want to make the right decisions!
