I have finally gotten more information on the trailer setup. I have 7K # axels, rims are rated for 110psi. and the tire size is ST235-80R-16. I am considering the Goodyear G614 trailer tire. Was wondering what the pros and cons were for going to a 17.5 wheel. What is the availability of each? Cost difference? ect. I have talked to some tire dealers, and they can not work on 17.5 wheels. So that limits you to a more commercial truck,truck stop. If I am understanding this correctly. The suppliers I have talked with recommend going to a 17.5" tire and wheel. Is this just for the additional sale of the wheels also, or is there a more justifiable reason behind it.
