If you only want to carry a little bit of fuel, a couple 5 gallons jugs are a lot cheaper and easier to move around. Ten gallons should get an extra 100 miles. If you go with the tank, you still have to plumb it in or buy and hook up a pump. If you still want to go this route, go visit a local boat shop like a Bass shop or a West Marine.
If you want a heavy duty plastic tank: Moeller marine fuel tank clicky
If you want aluminum: Aluminum fuel tank clicky
If you want steel, look in the yellow pages under welding shops, tank welding, or even septic tanks - most them make fuel tanks also.
