I see by your signature you tow a fiver. I've found towing my fiver in windy conditions not to be a problem at all (I'm talking about moderate winds, not hurricane force!). Three weeks ago I towed my fiver from Yuma to Kingman, AZ with pretty gusty winds coming from the west and north and there was no change needed in my driving procedure since there was no discernible movement of the fiver due to wind.
FWIW, I'm often passed by large semi's since I keep my speed at about 60-65 MPH and even so I can handle the steering wheel one-handed as if nothing at all had happened. The only negative about the wind is loss of fuel mileage when they come head on. Other than that, the whole rig is rock solid.
