Your point is well taken but, speaking for myself, I've always planned any long distance travel to avoid traveling at night, especially when towing my fiver. I made sure I'd reach an RV park before dark so I could set up camp and get a fresh start in the morning. It's not that I'm afraid to drive or pull an RV at night, I think there are too many risks being on the road with a large, heavy vehicle that it doesn't make risk taking worth it.. of course, truckers do it all the time, but I never found it necessary to drive at night. I was never in such a rush to get somewhere that I needed to do so. That's just one man's opinion. ;)
