As full-timers, we pack the same foods in our fifth wheel as we did in the house (albeit smaller quantities). Whether in the frig, pantry, or another cabinet we use as a "satellite pantry," we just make sure things are not packed so loosely that they knock about. 33,000 miles and we've never had anything break.

NO Paper plates, cubs etc
Real plates, cups, glassess PLUS Noritake China Set.
Glass jars in fridge, cabinets, pantries etc.
Only thing every broken was due to human error.
I dropped a dinner plate, it hit the floor bounce hit the screen door which popped open and plate flew out the door...landed on a rock and broke
Pickle jar & jalapeno jar fell out of fridge cause door was not secured and 1st left turn door came open....pickles/jalapenos AND gallon of ICE ALL over the floor
