Can anyone tell me what detergent or cleaner is best for removing tree sap from roof and upper side walls?

I have found that WD-40 does some amazing things for cleaning gooie stuff. You might give it a shot (literally)!
Goo Gone (http://googone.com/) is also pretty good on stuff too.
But on the roof, I'd just forget it.
