You bought a 2006 RV and truck with the idea you would use it for a trip to Alaska in 2018, or 12 years later.

But, no matter - it's water under the bridge now.
Fall back - re-access your situation (and vehicles) and proceed accordingly.
BTW - if the "re-access" part requires spending more $ or getting re-married.........skip asking for advice - just say "NO".
