Has anyone found a trip planner that you can set for a specific number of miles or hours you want to drive in a day? Find it very hard to figure out where my next stop will be

I googled drawing a radius on a map. Got a tool that lets me draw a circle around where I am leaving from, and shows me what is inside a certain mile radius.
Then I look for what roads I may want to try, or sights I might want to see, or just campgrounds near that distance on my proposed trip route.
We are not retired but, yes, someday it would be nice to try the " which way should we go today " method.
We use that method now for exploring around a new area from our campsite.
