Trip planning software. any recommendations?
OK. So I am planning on heading out again east to NY, down the coast to Cape Cod, down the coast to the Keys. I usually drive the interstate and since I am usually alone I look for family type RV park...

For a start I had eyes could actually read maps. Now I need a magnifying glass in addition to my cheaters. The roads werent as complex, getting thru and around cities wasnt as difficult. In the "olden days" we had a navigator "aka woman" and a driver "aka man". OTOH, I usually travel alone as my DH is a "fly over" type guy. When he is along I am driving and he falls asleep. I need GPS or we will get lost because even awake his attention drifts. He is just a space cadet and gets lost walking out the front door. In his defense that part of his brain where mapping normally resides is filled with playing beautiful classical guitar and writing poetry instead.
Who knows how many "missing" people just took a wrong turn and died stranded in some swamp, some desert, some mountain ditch in the snow.
