Have had the same issue with my Sterling Tow Bar for years, I even had it serviced once at a Rally and they said nothing was wrong with it. It Binds all the time(No, its not the All terrain bar). I use a long nail(as in the type you use for a tent stake) to knock the pin out. Funny thing is, it always and only binds on one side, the other side will release with the pull of the lever.
