Trouble with grey tank dumping using garden hose

I can't get grey water to come out of a garden hose when attached to my adapter. I know there is grey water to dump. Water will come out when the adapter plug is removed, just not when a hose is conn...

The "valve" is actually called an "Air Admittance Valve"....AAV. It can be found under the sink (kitchen or bath...maybe both) and can be replaced with one that you can find at just about any hardware store. The valve will unscrew easily.
