My BIL was pulled over in Minnesota for pulling a boat behind his 5th wheel, and told his 5th wheel was too long by 6 inches.
By 6 inches? To know, the officer would have had to measure. Who held the other end of the tape? :h
If you're holding the dumb end of the tape, there's no reason to be 6" too long! just sayin....
Had a nosy b!tch neighbor who didn't like me building a new house. So at every opportunity she'd call the county building dept and complain that I was building too close to the lake. (Technically I was. The setback requirement was 75' and depending on how you interpreted it, I was anywhere from about 65-85' back. She didn't know a dang thing, there was no required building inspections or surveys. Every time the poor inspector came out to answer the complaint, I held the dumb end of the tape, through the brush, down at the edge of the lake to make sure it was less than 75'!!
He showed up I think 5 different times. After the first 3, he'd just have a beer and ask me if I moved the house any closer to the lake since the last time he'd been out!
