After following this whole discussion, I guess I better not try to define what a real truck is. All I know is - I know one when I see one.

No offense, but it really doesn't matter what your definition is.
Look up "pickup truck" in the dictionary. By definition, a Ridgeline is a pickup truck. A "pickup" is a type of "truck."
You can make up your own language and your own definitions, but don't expect others to abide by your rules instead of adhering to the accepted definitions and rules of the English language.
