Turn left, then make a U-turn. Say what?

Even in a small town with no construction a GPS gets crazy. We were looking for a small business in a very small town in CO. Pulled off side of 2 lane highway into parking lot. After putting in address "she" says to continue in direction we were heading. One mile turn left, turn right, turn right, turn left, turn right, back on same highway we just came off of but heading in opposite direction (after over a mile roaming thru residential area), go two miles turn left, and arrive at address. Turned out it was less than 1 mile from original starting point. Apparently "she" could not just tell me to turn left out of the original parking lot. Unfortunately a paper map doesn't help with a specific address.

And I just love those "make a legal U turn" comments.
