I have the Garmin Rv Navigator which has been meh at best (completely locked up in downtown Phoenix, oodles of incorrect directions). I'm thinking of getting a Tom Tom or some other brand. Running them both at the same time and choosing what I consider the most logical directions.
But yes probably best bet is to pre qualify the route with a map.
