I never get more then 300 miles from my home. Whenever I use my home computer and Map Quest to find directions to a place that I'm going to then the directions are so way, way, way, out of the,,um,, way, that I have to correct it several times.
I just use it for going the last half of mile or so to my destination. I can get there faster and better (knowing some of the local roads) by just using a map.
Doesn't all of the GPS stuff just take you down the most traveled roads. Therefore making congestion worse and your trip longer???
