Turn signal indicators

or you could always speed up or slow down to pull in front of or behind willy.

Question for those that added their own, How did you wire them? Do they light up when the brake is pressed or only when the turn signal is on?

...and then there is Florida where maybe only 1 in 5 motorists use their turn signals to begin with. I do think side signals are a good idea though. We need every advantage we can get for driving defensively with a rig.

I installed my own about a third of the way from the front. I bought the brightest I could find and they are a definite asset when trying to change lanes and Willielumplump is driving along side of you and won't speed up or slow down to let you in. That catches there eye.

Our Mobile Suites had turn indicators about half way down the side of the body. That along with turn indicators on the mirrors was all we needed.

Heck, most cars don't even have those.

why are those even needed?? all RVs have tail lamps in the rear and indicator lights for the driver on the dash.

Have you ever been driving down the interstate and had and rv pass you and come over on you? He is not past you so you cannot see his tail lights and he is far enough ahead of you to not be able to see his tail lights because rv's are wider than the trucks towing them.....

huh? what's that got to do with side turn signal markers? if a TT or 5er is being towed aren't the trailer lights connected to the TV? if the TV driver isn't using his turn signals then there's nothing to see or if the TV driver starts his move without completing his pass of the other vehicle, well that's another story but hasn't got anything to do with side turn signal markers.

Many do have indicators on the side and mirrors.
