TV needs shocks

We just finished our 3000 mile shakedown trip, and towards the end, the shocks on the suburban decided they were done (kids said it was like Mr. Toads wild ride).
Any recommendations on shocks for towing? I've had very good experience with Rancho 9000's (not towing), but I have been told to go with Bilstein.
What are yall using for the heavier trailers (8000-9000 lbs)

    I have Bilsteins and have been very happy with them for the last 7 years.

    X2! on the Bilstein's, 5100's here, but 4600 are also good. I only have about four years on mine.

    Replaced OEM with Bilsteins in March of 2008.
    6 yrs. of towing heavy every week......still have them now.
    4600 Series as my truck is not lifted and 4X2

    Highly recommend Bilsteins.

    I replaced OEM at 100K plus miles on the rear of my F 250 and could not tell the difference.

    I was disappointed and will never go back regardless of what all the Bill advocates say.

    Another vote for bilsteins. Hellwig anti-sway bars and firestone air bags are a great additions too.

    Bilstien 4600 on my 2010 Ram 3500 SRW 4x4 megacab towing 13.5k fifth wheel over 10k mi and still loving the ride difference from the OEM shocks. Put them on at 32k mi and wished I had done it when I bought it new!!
