I have opted for just the cap with the hose fitting. A little water usually does get in there whether it be my TC or 5th wheel. I open the little hose cap and drain into my stinky slinky. Works real good for me. It also comes in handy as I can equalize my tanks with it also. Either way will work for sure. I was going to buy the valve and someone else suggested this technique. I also keep a clear elbow on there so I can see what is going on.
